Short description:
The University of Plymouth wish to appoint a provider to deliver our Contract for Services for Lot 1- Life Safe Compliance & Lot 2 - Water Hygiene Compliance.
The requirement for Lot 1 is set out in the Specification, Appendix A - Lot 1 - Life Safe Specification and the requirement for Lot 2 is set out in the Specification, Appendix A - Water Hygiene Specification. These two documents are separate documents
4 The Requirement
Lot 1 - Life Safe Compliance
The Life Safe Contracts primary function, is to carry out the Planned Maintenance function on the following types of assets
• Emergency Lighting
• Fire Alarms
• Disabled Call Systems
• Mansafe Systems
• Refuge Panels
• Smoke Ventilation
• Steps and Ladders inspections
• Window Maintenance
• Gas Detection
Lot 2 - Water Hygiene Compliance
The Water Hygiene Contracts primary function, is to carry out the Planned Maintenance function on the following types of assets
• Interceptors
• Rain Water Harvesting
• Reverse Osmosis
• Sewage & Drainage Pumps
• TMVs
• Ultra Violet Disinfection
• Water Fountains and Dispensers
• Water Hygiene
• Chlorine Dioxide System
• Reservoir & Park Cascade
• Adiabatic Humidification System
• Meter Readings
The Contract is due to start from 1st November 2017 for 3 years, with the opportunity to extend on a 2 yearly basis for up to 4 years e.g. 3 + 2 + 2.
The site visit window for Lot 1 & 2, is from 26th June - 19th July May 2017 for further information, refer to the appropriate Appendix A - Specification section 3 and Annex C. To arrange a site visit this must be request through the Electronic Tendering Portal the ETS InTend facility by 12:00 on Thursday 17th July 2017.
