Description
The contract will provide for planned maintenance and repairs to mechanical, electrical, lifts and building fabric elements of buildings. It is intended to meet the current and future needs of the Councils Corporate Estate which ranges from Administrative Offices, Transport Depots, Ideas Stores, Libraries, Public Conveniences as well as a broad range of Children, Community, Leisure and Residential & Day Care Centres.
The provision of Hard Facilities Management Services across Council buildings managed as part of the Corporate Estate. Services may include but are not limited to:
• General Requirements
• Planned Maintenance
• Remedial Works
• Building Fabric Maintenance - Inspection and Repairs (unsupported sites)
• External Fabric Maintenance - Inspection and Repairs (all sites)
• Void buildings maintenance
• Statutory Compliance
• Helpdesk (CAFM)
• Reactive Response
• Project works
• Professional Services and Project Delivery
The Council intends to procure this opportunity using the Competitive Dialogue with Negotiation procedure. To gauge market interest and to provide feedback on the draft proposal for the procurement the Councils is hosting a 'Supplier Briefing Event' at Mulberry Place, 5 Clove Crescent, East India Dock, London E14 2BG on 26th April at 13.00 hrs. The Council is looking for feedback (without limitations) on the operating capacity, delivery arrangements and other factors likely to influence a party's interest in this project. Prospective bidders who wish to attend the event should notify of their intention to attend by email to Ilva.cunka@towerhamlets.gov.uk no later than 12 Noon on Monday 24 April 2017.
