Description
On 20 November 2018 DWP released Enhanced Local Flexibility for the Unemployed Programme (OC20S18P1232). As a result the Council of the Borough of Kirklees (the "Council") is seeking expressions of interest from economic operators to work with us, at risk, to co-design, develop and deliver the Kirklees Council response to the European Social Fund, Enhanced Local Flexibility for the Unemployed Call which if successful would be part funded through European Social Fund ("ESF"). If successful this funding would enable the Council to further develop an integrated employment and skills offer, and would inform a future devolved employment and skills service. This could bring together information, advice and guidance alongside the delivery of employment, skills, apprenticeships and wider support for individuals and employers. Provision will run for 3 years and is envisaged to start in January 2020, although this is subject to change. We are looking to work with partners on the following basis: 1. Delivery Partners. 2. Specialist Providers. Further details on these roles are provided in the Specification document. On 13 December 2018 a Prior Indicative Notice ("PIN"), used as a call for competition, was published in the Official Journal of the European Union by the Council, inviting expressions of interest from economic operators with the relevant experience and ability to deliver the requirements of the Kirklees Enhanced Local Flexibility for the Unemployed programme, for both Lots. Interested economic operators must express their interest in this opportunity by downloading the documentation on YORtender (at https://www.yortender.co.uk) and submitting their EOI via the YORtender portal, using the Selection Questionnaire ("SQ") document, by the deadline of 13:00hrs on 2 January 2019.
