Description
NHS South of England Procurement Services, acting on behalf of Health Education England (the Commissioner) will be commencing a tender for the delivery of Adult Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (Talking Therapies) education in the South West. The education contract will take account of the development needs of the existing Talking Therapies workforce as well as those of the future workforce. The contract will cover, but may not be limited to, High Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy training (the HI Programme); Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner training (the PWP Programme); Supervision training (the Supervision Programme); and other associated modalities/education.
This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to advise prospective providers of the Commissioners intention.
We also plan to hold a Market Engagement session in Bristol at Park House, 1200 Parkway North, Newbrick Road, Stoke Gifford, Bristol BS34 8YU on the 13th January 2020 from 11.00-13.00. This will provide an opportunity for potential providers to find out more about the aims of the tender and contracts, the process involved as well as network with others. HEE will use the opportunity to gather intelligence from providers which may influence the final tender.

It is the intention of the commissioner that the procurement will be conducted as on OJEU Service Contract using an Open Procedure under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. The ITT is expected to be published in February 2020. A separate advert will be released advising of this.
