Description

Peer Networks is a national initiative that will be delivered locally through the Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) network and local Growth Hubs.

The programme invites leaders and senior managers from the SME business community who meet the eligibility criteria below to participate in a local peer network that will meet regularly over several months.

Critical to the success of this programme is the use of qualified and suitably experienced facilitators deploying an Action Learning Style to drive the peer network and deliver high-impact outcomes. The facilitator(s) should have the skills, experience and qualifications needed to successfully facilitate sessions with small business owners.

Tenderers should be able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of the specific needs, characteristics and issues faced by SMEs within the GBSLEP area, the business support landscape in the area, and a detailed understanding of the range of business issues associated with growth, productivity, innovation, strategy, people and skills, driving change, resilience, technology adoption - and how to address these.

Complementing the delivery of facilitated action learning sessions will be Individual one-to-one support (coaching, mentoring, and/or advice) to help implement concepts discussed during the action learning sessions and manage change.

GBSLEP will commission up to 18 (eighteen) individual peer groups (cohorts) consisting of 11 owners or managers from the SME business community. Applications are being invited by those who are seeking to deliver between two and six cohorts.

GBSLEP is keen to ensure that these networks are aligned with our Strategic Economic Plan1 and capitalise on existing and emerging growth sectors.

Please visit the GBSLEP Growth Hub website to apply for this opportunity.
