Description
The Centre for Process Innovation (CPI) is opening a new National Centre for Healthcare Photonics (NCHP) based at NETPark, County Durham, UK in 2018. The centre will provide facilities and expertise to help companies of all sizes to develop their photonics based technologies for healthcare and turn them into commercially viable products. As part of this Centre, CPI is establishing a bio-imaging and fluorescence spectroscopy facility to offer high resolution optical imaging and time-resolved fluorescence detection capabilities for biomedical, physical and life sciences applications.
