Additional details

Observing its obligations under the NHS (Procurement Patient Choice and Competition)(No.2) Regulations 2013, the CCG has assessed the appropriateness to award this interim contract directly through a non-competitive process to secure continuity of high quality services for Bury patients from an incumbent provider which has been delivering and developing the current services through a recent 3-year contract. This process will secure continuity of services which are considered critical to support local patients throughout and following the immediate COVID pandemic response.
During this interim contract period, the CCG will review and assess its future commissioning requirements.
