Description
The approach below recognises the firm deadline surrounding the data centre exit: • Deliver the following to enable exit from the data centre: - o Landing Zone o Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) o Network File Servers o Back Ups o Application and SQL Servers o Build a DMZ environment in Azure for WYCA to host services and publish applications in a protected environment o Current VPN Connectivity to be decommissioned from the Rotherham Data Centre and a new solution provided, hosted either is Azure, or Azure VPN as an option o Implementation of Microsoft Sentinel Microsoft Sentinel is a scalable, cloud-native, security information and event management (SIEM) and security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) solution. Microsoft Sentinel delivers intelligent security analytics and threat intelligence across the enterprise, providing a single solution for attack detection, threat visibility, proactive hunting, and threat response. Deploy above software Provide 12 months externally managed SOC with support Review after 12 Months • Switch services in Wellington House to the cloud where possible to benefit from efficiencies in bundling up solutions • Provide some training on the new solutions and new ways of working • Carry out some user acceptance testing o Load Testing o Security PEN Testing • Review cost profile for Azure Services regularly • Turn off all services at Rotherham and de-commission and same for those at Wellington House • Transition the new service into BAU operations • Finalise a requirement specification/matrix • Carry out a procurement exercise and award this work to a partner(s)
