Beachcroft Care Home Market Engagement Event
Westminster City Council invites you to our market engagement event on the 22nd April at 2:30pm ahead of launching the tender of Beachcroft Care Home procurement in Summer 2020.
About Beachcroft House
Beachcroft House has been developed by Westminster City Council to replace two outdated homes. It will offer residential and nursing care to vulnerable older people including specialist services for people with dementia. We are now looking for providers to complete the commissioning of the home, move residents from the closing homes and work in partnership with us to ensure the best quality of life for residents and those who are important to them.
This initiative is vital to Westminster's aspiration to enable more people to receive high quality care close to home. We want providers who share our vision and will work with us to deliver on it.
Specifically, we are looking for providers that can demonstrate that they:
- Place service users at the heart of the service
- Deliver person-centred and individualised services
- Keep people safe but support them to maintain their independence
- Promote and maintain health and wellbeing
- Enable service users to lead active and fulfilled lives whatever their physical and mental health challenges
- Are committed to continuous improvement and close partnership working
The aim of the event:
- Share information about demographic activity and care home trends in WCC
- Introduce flagship purpose-built building
- Share details of forthcoming market opportunity
- Share WCC vision of personalised outcome-based services
- Explore market experience
- Questions and feedback from the market
Please note:
- This notice is not a call for competition. For avoidance of doubt, this does not formally signify the beginning of a procurement exercise and does not constitute any commitment by the councils to undertake any procurement exercise.
The aim of these engagement events will be to build a plan together that ensures the market is built-up and supported.
If you are not registered on Westminster City Council's capitalEsourcing e-tendering portal but would like to stay informed of any tender opportunities, please use the link and follow the on-screen registration instructions.
