Specification
Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit (MLCSU) are currently looking to procure a fixed price multi-service license across approximately 271 community pharmacy providers in the Black Country region. We are looking for complete management of local enhanced service delivery via an IT platform.
We would be grateful if you could provide us with a quote for the service outline based on approximately 271 Pharmacies. This would include the Platform License Fee and the Pharmacy Deployment (Set-up) Fee - to cover an unlimited amount of pharmacy commissioned enhanced services across all our providers.
Specifically, we are looking for the following:
• One annual fixed charge with price guarantee allowing unlimited addition of services.
• Could you clarify if there are any data sharing arrangements e.g. (commissioners to be able to access info on commissioned services for their area) - and additional costs.
• A facility to communicate to providers for surveys, updates etc. via the platform.
• To create services such as Palliative Care, Minor Ailments and Minor Eye Conditions
• Uploading of accreditation for Enhanced Services by providers
• Availability of reports
• Provision of monthly claim data to allow payments via the local payment system
• Facility to accredit providers to specific services
The data management system will be web based and have the ability to capture patient data in a secure manner; there will be safeguards in place to protect data and to ensure that the user will only provide services which they have been accredited by the commissioner.
• The developer will keep the software compliant with legislative and legal requirements such as GDPR and NHS data standards
• Support via telephone and email will be available to users between core working hours
• Provide a reporting function to measure effectiveness of campaigns, support commissioners to demonstrate value for money
• Ability to design and implement enrolment to services
• Ability to produce pro forma invoices and monthly statements
• Ability to use secure messaging
Contract Duration
This contract will run from 1st April 2024 - 31st March 2025 with the option to extend for a further 12 months.
