Description
The Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Public Health Joint Commissioning Unit are undertaking a strategic needs analysis to inform future planning and commissioning decisions, ahead of a re-commissioning process to help make strategic investment decisions based on current need.
The overall aims of this Needs Assessment are to provide clear, high quality evidence in regard to the needs and inequalities relating to substance misuse to improve health and wellbeing and reduce health inequalities. The needs assessment will provide partners and stakeholders with an overview of the needs of individuals, families and communities affected by drug and alcohol misuse, especially those most at risk.
Recommendations will inform local strategic planning and commissioning redesign of local drug and alcohol prevention, treatment and recovery services.
