Description

Leicestershire County Council and Leicester City Council (the Employer) is seeking to identify and appoint Contractor(s) to a Highways Minor Works Framework Agreement (Framework). The work involved will be of a jobbing / patching / minor works nature associated with the maintenance and improvement of the Employers highway network. The proposed Framework period is two years with potential extensions of a further two years in one year increments subject to performance.
The tender is divided into four Lots
Lot 1 - Supply of Minor Works Teams (LCC): which consists of rates for teams and equipment working under the direction of Leicestershire County Council
Lot 2 - Measured Works (LCC): which consists of rates to provide all necessary resources, including materials, to complete highway maintenance / minor improvement / drive crossing work or programmes of work that can be planned and identified well in advance for Leicestershire County Council
Lot 3 - Supply of Minor Works Teams (Leicester City Council): which consists of rates for teams and equipment working under the direction of Leicester City Council
Lot 4 - Measured Works (LCC): which consists of rates to provide all necessary resources, including materials, to complete highway maintenance / minor improvement / drive crossing work or programmes of work that can be planned and identified well in advance for Leicester City Council.
The estimated value through the Framework is not guaranteed and is dependent on budgets made available to the Employer but could be up to:
Lot 1 - £4m (£1.00m per annum) LCC
Lot 2 - £4m (£1.00m per annum) LCC
Lot 3 - £3m (£0.75m per annum) Leicester City Council
Lot 4 - £3m (£0.75m per annum) Leicester City Council The Employer may appoint up to 6nr (six) Contractors to each Lot.
Contractors can apply for and be appointed to any number of Lots.
