The High Integrity Stainless Steel Containers (HISSC) contract opportunity consists of the manufacture, testing, inspection and delivery of a range of 12 stainless steel products split into four lots:
1. Drums - large high-integrity, high-precision 500 litre drums.
2. General fabrication items including stillages and Miscellaneous Beta Gamma Waste Store (MBGWS) boxes and stools
3. Clip-on bases and slotted fuel cans
4. Waste Vitrification Plant (WVP) containers - extremely high integrity flasks which contain high-temperature vitrified high level nuclear waste. Information on indicative volumes will be published separately. The estimated value range for the contract opportunity is £84,300,000.00 to £160,400,000.00 and is based on current volume estimates which may be subject to change. Estimated values are based on current money values and exclude any allowance for inflation.
