Description

To inform an LGA-led programme of development, learning and improvement centred on the role of councils in 'reshaping financial support', building on the LGA's recently published scoping report, and a review of current literature and related programmes.

To contribute to a wider narrative and evidence base about the benefits of a preventative approach to improving outcomes and reducing demand for crisis support.

To work in partnership with the LGA and its partners to provide consultancy advice and support to 4 - 8 pathfinder councils. Pathfinders will build-on and develop improved approaches to supporting low income households, through both direct and indirect financial support.

To design and deliver a programme of Action Learning to identify and share innovative practice

To advise on outcomes and develop an effective evaluation framework
