Description

Leicester City Council led on the procurement for Probation Health Trainer Service on behalf of Leicester City Council and Leicestershire County Council.
The procurement of this service has now concluded and the contract awarded.
Probation Health Trainer Service support adults who wish to make a change towards a healthier lifestyle but who are unlikely to make and maintain this without individual support.
Probation Health Trainers are generally ex-offenders and all health trainers must have successfully completed the nationally accredited Health Trainer training and have been assessed as competent to undertake the Health Trainer role. They work with clients on a one-to-one basis, to assess their health and lifestyle risks and support them in their decision to make and sustain behavioural change to a healthier lifestyle.
