Description

As Corporate Parent, Bromley Council is committed to ensuring that children and young people in care have access to high quality education provision and timely and appropriate support when it is needed. Securing good educational outcomes for children in care will enable them to live economically independent, successful and fulfilling adult lives.

As part of this process, Bromley Virtual School tracks and monitors the attendance and academic progress of children and young people in care, ensuring they are making progress in line with National expectations, by collection of termly teacher assessment data and annual Key stage and GCSE results for Children Looked After (CLA) as well as maintaining effective monitoring and recording systems.

Bromley Council is looking for a suitable and experienced Company that will be able to carry out this monitoring service in line with all the requirements described in this specification and to meet the attendance collection target in 100%.

This includes daily contact with schools, alternative provisions and home settings for the collection of attendance data, including exclusion data, unexplained and persistent absence monitoring and alerts for CLA. Contact will need to take account of varied and reduced timetables.

You must provide a copy of your Strategy for Data Security in order to be considered for this contract.

The tender opportunity will be run through the London Tenders Procurement Portal and you will need to register your company with the portal as soon as possible (if you have not already done so) at www.londontenders.org to ensure that you are able to access and submit the relevant documents online.
