Description

The purpose of this commission is for a specialist engineering contractor to carry out the regeneration of the Eldonian Site. The land on the site is to be returned to its original construction levels of 1971 by breaking out and removing the excess surface material and made ground which is currently sitting on top of the Kingsway Tunnel approach and overstressing the arched concrete structure below. At this time a start date of 1st April 2021 is anticipated, however, if budgets change there may be an opportunity to bring this date forward.
