Description

English Heritage Trust wishes to re-tender the measured term contracts for a) building maintenance services and b) mechanical & electrical maintenance services for parts of its estate of historic sites, associated buildings and offices. English Heritage Trust manages over 400 historic properties across England as well as offices and stores. The sites have a mix of both historic and non-historic assets and some hold collections of significant value and of historic importance. Some may be in remote areas and may be difficult to access.
They vary significantly in size, complexity, geographical location and type ranging from furnished historic houses, ruined castles and abbeys to prehistoric and Roman remains, industrial sites, gardens and statues. Almost all are protected as scheduled ancient monuments and /or listed buildings, registered historic gardens, conservation areas. A few are World Heritage Sites. English Heritage Trust conserves and maintains these properties for the enjoyment of present and future generations.

This Tender covers the North of England and is broken down into Lots as follows:
