Description
Innovate UK published its Net Zero Living: Pioneer Places funding competition for proposal of up to £75,000 to develop detailed plans to unlock non-technical systemic barriers to the delivery of net zero targets including power, heat, mobility, product manufacture and usage. The competition is a two stage process. It starts with a phase 1 and can lead to a phase 2 Pioneer Places grant if successful to implement the details plans.
We are seeking business partners for the phase 1 feasibility study application.
For feasibility studies, businesses can get funding for eligible project costs of:
up to 70% if you are a micro or small organisation
up to 60% if you are a medium sized organisation
up to 50% if you are a large organisation
If you are applying to be a partner, you must bring the following:
Time and capacity to collaborate with Partners on the Phase 1 bid development for submission by 11am, 30th November 2022
Be a UK registered business
Offer expertise in data, modelling for net zero, systems thinking, finance, infrastructure planning, new business models.
Experience working collaboratively in partnerships to seek innovation and insights and how they can be practically applied.
Experience working on Innovate UK or other government grant schemes in partnerships.
Cover match funding costs to participate e.g. if you are a small organisation you can claim eligible costs of 70% and will need to cover, through match funding, the further 30% for your participation.
Show evidence you can take a security-minded approach to developing connected places including PAS185
Available 1st April - 30th June 2023 to deliver the feasibility project if successful in the phase 1 competition.
