Description

19/SJM/14 Microarray Spotter

The University of Portsmouth has recently been awarded £5.8milllion in funding from the Research England Expanding Excellence Fund to set up the Centre for Enzyme Innovation (CEI). Coupled with significant investment by the University, this major funding will speed up our progress towards finding a solution to one of the world's greatest environmental challenges, plastic waste.
As part of our research in this field, we require a microarray spotter. This will be used in a purpose built laboratory in the centre for printing DNA arrays and transcription templates to further the enzyme and molecular biology research that we are conducting.
