Description

The University of Sheffield's Department of Physics and Astronomy, with funding from EPSRC (Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council), require a tuneable, near-infrared (700-1000nm) Ti:Sapphire continuous wave laser for optical spectroscopy of semiconductor-based photonic devices. The principle uses of the laser will include resonant spectroscopy (resonance fluorescence) of quantum dots and high-power spectroscopy of devices containing quantum wells.
