Brief Description of Requirement
A dedicated microwave module for the heating with accurate in-situ temperature measurement
UV monitor which allows monitoring of Fmoc deprotection which will produce a histogram to help formulate a strategy for making difficult peptide sequences for 0.05, 0.10 and 0.25 mmol scale
Fmoc solid phase peptide synthesis from 0.025 - 5mmol scale using reaction vessels ranging from 10-125mL volume
20 ports standard for amino acids
7 additional unusual amino acid ports
4 external ports for other reagents
Must be capable of completing a cycle time on a 0.01 mmol scale in 4 minutes
Must generate no more than 20ml of waste
The system is to be used outside of a fume hood
Must be able to import/export peptide sequences/methods to and from the system controller
