Description

As part of Historic England's HerStories campaign Historic England has commissioned The London College of Fashion and artist Lucy Orta to create a new banner through community workshops with inmates from HMP Downview to mark the centenary of women's suffrage for Historic England's commission for Artichoke's PROCESSIONS public artwork. LCF and Lucy Orta are facilitating the banner making workshop, sourcing materials and coordinating with the prison to produce the new banner for I 0 June for the PROCESSIONS event. LCF students will carry the banner in place of the inmates on I 0 june.
