Description

The ETF is looking to commission a delivery partner to:
1). Create a new management development programme for those responsible for managing the prison education and learning offer for the post March 2019 world. The new programme should incorporate relevant content from both the management development programme for prison managers and the guide for new learning, skills and employment managers working in offender learning, but its main focus should be equipping participants (including prison managers, Heads of reducing re-offending, or anybody else nominated by the governor) with the knowledge and skills to manage a range of education providers and subcontractors within the secure estate.
2) Work with MoJ/HMPPS to develop guidance for prison governors to identify and fulfil their vision for learning in its broadest sense in order to build the social capital of their learners, to develop the skills they need to unlock their potential, gain employment and become assets to their communities, and ultimately become the people they want to be.
