Description
Bromford Housing Group ltd. identified a number of properties where either replacement of the passenger lifts or a number of Health and Safety upgrade works were advised due to reliability issues, wear and tear and age. 9 lifts in total have been identified for full replacement at the following locations: 3 in Lichfield, 1 in Oswestry, 1 in Nuneaton, 2 in Cotswold, 1 in Birmingham and 1 in Swindon. Further 14 lifts at the following locations require various H&S upgrade works: 2 in Lichfield, 1 in Birmingham, 1 in Swindon, 2 in Wolverhampton, 1 in Walsall, 1 in Banbury and 5 in Aylesbury. The works are to be delivered as turn-key projects with the Contract performing the role of the Principal Contractor. The Contractor will be responsible for providing lift equipment including the design, manufacture, delivery, storage, installation, commissioning, final testing and CE marking and removal and disposal of all redundant materials and equipment. Where required the Contractor will be responsible for providing all works by associated trades. As an indication the Contract is expected to commence by 1st February 2019 with all Works required to be completed by 31st March 2023 (Lot 1 - Replacement Works) and 31st March 2019 (if possible) or a later date to be agreed for Lot 2 - H&S Upgrade Works.
