Description

We are looking for approximately 10 -12 case studies which showcase some best practice examples of local government taking the lead on tackling anti-social behaviour.

These can be examples of best practice of local authorities responding to anti-social behaviour (ASB) during COVID-19, or ASB strategies and plans that the local authority had in place prior to COVID-19.

For the purpose of this document, when using the term anti-social behaviour, this is intended to mean "behaviour by a person which causes, or is likely to cause, harassment, alarm or distress to persons not of the same household as the person."

The document should demonstrate examples of:

•Local government leading strong multi-agency partnership arrangements to help tackle anti-social behaviour issues in the community.

•Good information-sharing arrangements between various partners to support victims of anti-social behaviour and deliver swift resolutions to ASB issues.

•Local government anti-social behaviour strategies which have a focus on early intervention and mediation, as well as wider enforcement measures.

•How local authorities and their partners are effectively using the ASB tools available in the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014, including the Community Trigger process.
