Description

MML requires a suitably experienced and qualified supplier to refurbish two (2) existing passenger lifts located along the Metro route at the Bilston and Lodge Road stations. In addition to this, maintenance services are also required for two (2) additional lifts that are located at the Wednesbury Depot, one (1) lift at St Chads and the (two) refurbished units (following the one (1) year warranty period.
We are seeking to appoint a supplier that has extensive technical experience and knowledge in both refurbishing and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) of passenger lifts, as well as providing reactive call out services. MML will decide whether to contract for a fully comprehensive or parts and labour only solution for PPM / Reactive services based upon affordability.
Bidders will be required to attend a site visit day to examine / inspect each of the five (5) lifts as part of the procurement process in order to submit a compliant tender and/or be considered for this opportunity. Social distancing requirements must be maintained throughout the day and Bidders will be required to submit any clarification questions via the e-tendering portal only. Each Bidder may only have two (2) attendees at the site visit and will be required to provide their details at least 48 hours in advance via the BravoSolution e-tendering system. Bidders will be notified if their proposed date has been booked and if not, an alternative date will be offered via BravoSolution. Please note that site visits are initially being made available between the 9th and 18th September 2020.
Bidders are invited to submit their response to this ITT by the closing date of 12 Noon on the 30th September 2020.
