If you are interested in this opportunity, please register your interest by emailing Gemma Sampson at gemma.sampson@environment-agency.gov.uk by 01/09/2017.
We anticipate the tender documents will be issued in week commencing 11/09/2017 and tender return date 2 weeks from date of issue.
The works vary from kiosk repairs and replacements, to repairs to groundwater borehole headworks. We consider the most specialised element to the works to be the replacement of an artesian tap which would involve freezing the water inside the tap (the water is under considerable pressure) to allow removal and replacement of the tap. The sites vary in nature but most are located in grass verges and fields. Lambly Hill is located under a manhole cover in a private driveway. The EA have the necessary access arrangements in place however with this site we would wish to limit any inconvenience to the landowner.
