Description
East Sussex County Council is inviting organisations to quote for works associated with the Excavation, Ducting & Reinstatement of Electricity Supply Diversion Route Trenches at Adams Farm, Bexhill, East Sussex to facilitate a permanent power supply to Adam's Farm House, situated at Crowhurst Road, Bexhill on Sea, TN39 4AB.
Works will include:
EXCAVATION - carry out all excavation and reinstatement including joint bays and lay ducting for the route. CAUTION - there will be live cables in vicinity.
DUCTING - ducting must be 150mm black plastic electrical ducting laid as per ECS 02-0019. 6.1 Cable Protection Tapes and Covers with draw ropes.
Liaise with UKPN Field Engineer regarding number and location of joint bays for cable pull pits and route joints.
ACCESS - provide access to site on days of works.
Provide vehicular access to UKPN's existing poles to allow for safe removal. This is likely to involve the creation of temporary road surfaces across existing drainage ditches.
CONSENTS - liaise with UKPN OPC team regarding the supply and installation of a dual locking system on the access gate to allow UKPN access 24/7 in the event of a fault.
