Description

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea are seeking to appoint two Service Providers for the Grounds Maintenance Services to Council housing estates and playground inspections.

Lot 1 / Contract 1, is for works predominately in the North of the Borough.

Lot 2 / Contract 2, is predominately in the South of the Borough.

The Grounds Maintenance Services will comprise of the upkeep and clearance of the landscaped areas of the estates within the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, comprising:-
- Grassed Areas
- Shrubs/Rose Beds/Flower Beds
- Trees - up to 3.0m
- Hedges
- Hard Surfaces
- Safety Surfaces
- Play Areas - Inspections
- Planters - Including Hanging Baskets
- Signs and Sign Posts
- Winter Preparations
- Gritting Pathways
- Bins
- the inspection and identification of necessary works to playgrounds on the estates

The Contract Agreement term offered is 5 years (with a 2 year break clause) with an option to extend for 5 years in increments of 5 further 1 year extensions depending on the Service Providers performance (which shall be at the Authority's sole discretion to a maximum of 10 years in total).
