Description

The aim of the Natural Rivers and Green Corridors project is to utilise European funding from the European Regional Development Fund to enable the project's partners (Birmingham City Council (the Council), the Environment Agency & the Wildlife Trust for Birmingham and the Black Country) to implement a comprehensive, strategic and co-ordinated package of activities that will have a significant positive impact on surface area of habitats attaining better conservation status. By improving the resilience of the habitats, the project contributes to improved ecosystem services delivery, environmental quality and health and well-being outcomes.

The project includes creation of new and enhancement of existing wildlife habitats and this tender seeks to procure the supply of specified wildflower seeds, plants and bulbs.

The contract requires supply of various native wildflower seeds, plug plants, potted plants and bulbs to support the above project.
We require wetland and meadow supplies to be delivered as soon as possible on receipt of order.
Woodland supplies are to be delivered by end August/early Sept.
Delivery address for supplies will be: Birmingham & Black Country Wildlife Trust, Centre of the Earth, 42 Norman Street, Birmingham, B18 7EP.
Timeline for contract delivery:
o Contract awarded 22nd July 2022
o Delivery of meadow and wetland seeds by 31 July 2022.
o Delivery of plants by mid-August.
o Delivery of Woodland species by mid-September.
