Description
We invite interested parties to present a methodology to undertake strategic land appraisal. There are two parts within this commission: 1. Joint SCR employment land and premises review: this should provide a more coherent, joined up understanding of current employment land across all nine districts in the SCR. 2. Employment Land Review for Sheffield City Council (SCC): this should provide an employment land review, covering both employment land demand and supply, in line with latest Planning Practice Guidance. Overall, this project will bring together existing evidence in each of the nine SCR districts, and refresh the evidence in Sheffield City Council area. It will create a joint evidence base on the employment land supply for SCR, providing a better understanding of the differing qualities of the employment land offer in the city region as well as its strategic fit against the existing SEP and emerging Local Industrial Strategy.
