Norfolk County Council has a requirement to enter into an arrangement with a prepaid account provider(s) that supports the continued development and delivery of the following two services:
Prepaid Bank Account with Debit Card
o Prepaid bank account with debit card facility for direct payment services.
2300 Prepaid bank accounts are currently in use by Norfolk County Council service users or their representatives to manage their direct payment funds.
o Prepaid bank account with debit card facility for use by non-direct payment services
Including:
o Norfolk County Council staff as a purchasing card and an alternative to cash
o Norfolk residents who do not have access to a bank account.
o Emergency single use cards
