Description

Merton Council is seeking to appoint a socially focused and innovative workspace operator to deliver an affordable workspace and a thriving night-time and weekend economy offering at 102-106 London Road, Morden, SM4 5AY.

102 - 106 London Road is a five fronted retail unit with planning permission application submitted for sui generis use. It is part of the Councils Civic building but has a separate entrance and exit. It was previously used as a bank and has recently been operating as a meanwhile space providing a daytime café and a live music events venue in the evening. It lends itself to continue to provide a day and night-time offer of this kind and any operator will need to ensure social value and community wealth outcomes.
