Description

3618/AMRC/GM/23 Drying/Melting oven unit

The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders for a Drying/Melting oven unit on behalf of the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, Composites Centre at Catcliffe, South Yorkshire.

Scope of Requirement

The AMRC Composites Centre has a requirement for an oven solution for use on our slurry tape development line. It will be used on projects that work with both academia and industry to deliver cutting edge research into thermoplastic composites.
Initially, the oven solution will replace an existing tunnel oven, which does not possess the required level of thermal control for the job. However, the solution needs to be future proofed in order that it can be potentially used later, on a new tape line.
