Description

The Isle of Wight Council ("the Authority") invites Tenders from suitably qualified providers ("Tenderers") for the provision of a multiuse games area, outdoor gym equipment and associated works. The contract is to run from 8th May 2017 for a maximum period of 9 weeks.

The Isle of Wight Council has undertaken consultation with local stakeholders which has shown that there is demand, in this particular area, for play provision for young people and health and fitness equipment for adults.

The Multi Use Games Area will be an asphalt surface to play specifications and finishes, with fencing and floodlighting, suitably marked for basketball and football.

The Outdoor Gym will be a mixture of Cardio Vascular and Strength equipment some 9 pieces in total.

There is a requirement that two pieces of this fitness equipment will be fully accessible.
