Other additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
Wandsworth Borough Council is seeking experienced Contractors to provide the design and build of Disability Adaptations to appropriate tenanted properties within the Wandsworth Borough. The works entail the installation of major adaptations and include the acquisition of stair lifts, vertical lifts, ceiling track hoists, ramps, step lifts and automatic door openers. The duration of the contract will be for 3 years with an extension option of up to 1 year at the Council's absolute discretion. The contracts will be divided into two Lots where two Contractors shall be appointed for both Lots.
