Description

Science in Industry Research Centre (SIRC) supports companies in the West Midlands to develop new science based products. SIRC is run by the University of Wolverhampton and is part-funded by European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The equipment is being purchased to support project delivery and the research that it will carry out.


The University is looking to purchase a bench top DSC /TGA instrument for modular thermogravimetric analysis of polymeric materials. This instrument will help the researchers at UoW to characterize materials with regard to their composition. Application areas will include: different types of polymers, mineral compounds and ceramics.
