Description

The Occupational Health Unit (OHU) of NWP is wholly occupied within the force' headquarters in Colwyn Bay and provides services for all staff for their relevant health surveillance and case management occupational health requirements. The department's current processes are causing additional work for OHU administrators, as they are, amongst other things being required to constantly chase people to get in contact to book their medical appointments.

A new software management system will standardise the reporting and provision of management information and bring a level of automation and flexibility to number of administrative functions.

The OHU of North Wales Police is looking to replace an existing paper and file based system with a digital/web based solution. This forms part of the OHU requirement to deliver a service that looks at long-term conditions, works in collaboration with HR to optimise staff in the work place and support them in their roles
