The tender return date has been extended to 10:00 am on 29/06/2018. There are no further changes to report. The status remains as follows: As you may be aware, Ikea, the intended anchor tenant for the Cuerden retail development, has advised that it wishes to withdraw its plans to open a store on the site. Whilst the Council remains focussed on the site development it is considered appropriate to pause certain works / tender exercises whilst discussions take place. On this basis we are pausing this tender exercise for a short period but will confirm our position at the very earliest opportunity. Please be assured that should this exercise continue we will, of course, extend the deadline for tender submissions as appropriate.

Please note that the contract start and end dates are likely to change.
