Description

The Council wishes to appoint an experienced contractor(s) to undertake this project in order to reduce the energy consumed and improve the resilience of the Moorside data centre facility. The four primary areas that are being procured are as follows:
- Electrical works including but not limited to Switchboards / Power / Lighting / UPS
- Removal and disposal of four legacy Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) units and the supply and installation of five new CRAC units incorporating Free Air Cooling
- Installation of Cold Aisle Containment and services
- Building Environment works
