Description

At Lullington Heath NNR, near Eastbourne and Castle Hill NNR, near Brighton, various sections of track across the downs require repair. The two sites are in the South Downs National Park and chalk is the underlying geology. Minimizing the impact of the works on the landscape and the local ecology are of paramount importance.

All tracks are bridleways forming part of the public rights of way network with regular use by members of the public.

The tracks should be repaired to allow safe use by all user groups throughout the year
