Description
Blackpool Coastal Housing (BCH) manages the Disabled Facilities Grants (DFG) for Blackpool Council and as the Council's agent also manages the budget for this service. DFG includes the provision of building works necessary to help a disabled person remain independent at their home and can include such works as level access showers, ground floor WC facilities and in certain qualifying cases a full extension onto the applicants property.
It shall be the duty of the Contractor to carry out the adaptation works, as defined in the General Conditions of Contract and Specification. This will include the formation of wet rooms, creation of external ramps, extensions and other major property adaptations
