Description
Yenton Primary School Governing Board seeks to accommodate an established childcare provider, currently judged Good or Outstanding by Ofsted, to deliver high quality: Full Day care, Out of School and Holiday Childcare, in accordance with the Ofsted Statutory Framework of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) 2017, from 7am - 6pm as required.
This service will be delivered from a new self-contained modular building with the capacity of a 50 place nursery provision on the school site. However, the School Governing Board may, at their absolute discretion, extend access to additional space (for before and afterschool care) during term time within the school site.
It is the intention of the Yenton Primary School Governing Board to commission a contract to provide the following:
A high quality inclusive Day-care, Out of school and Holiday provision to meet the diverse needs of children aged from 2-11 years old within Birmingham to include:
•Provision of before and after school childcare places as required with children attending Yenton Primary School given priority access to places.
•Provision of holiday childcare places as required with children attending Yenton Primary School given priority access to places.
•Siblings of children attending Yenton Primary School to be given priority access to childcare places for 2-4 year olds.
The Council will be using its free to use e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this procurement process and potential suppliers must register with the system to be able to express an interest.
