Description

Birmingham Children's Trust requires a supplier for the provision of monthly Regulation 44 Visitor Service for Birmingham Children's Trust internal residential homes.

Birmingham Children's Trust also requires a provider to carry out six monthly monitoring visits (that can be equivalent to a single Reg 44 type visit) to named children's homes that are commissioned on a block bed contract arrangement.

There are three lots in this quotation exercise - you can apply for any single lot or any combination of the lots.

Lot 1: Birmingham Children's Trust requires a provider to deliver a monthly Regulation 44 Visitor Service for Birmingham Children's Trust internal residential homes and produce a report thereon. This is to be awarded to a single provider.

Lot 2: Children's Trust also requires a provider to carry out six-monthly monitoring visits (that can be equivalent to a single Reg 44 type visit) to named children's homes that are commissioned on a block bed contract arrangement and produce a report thereon. This is to be awarded to a single provider.

Lot 3: Birmingham Children's Trust requires a provider to carry out thematic monitoring visits to named residential homes or supported accommodation providers on a spot -purchase basis, in urgent situations (24-hour response time). Birmingham Children's Trust will provide any pre visit intelligence and a brief about the purpose of the visit. The provider is to produce a report thereon.

This contract will be for a period of 2 years commencing 3rd February 2020 until 31st January 2022, with an option to extend for two more years (2 + 1 + 1). The contract will be renewed on an annual basis depending on previous performance including the ability of the provider to meet the requirements of the specification.
