Description

The University of Warwick has a requirement to purchase a matrix-sprayer for preparation of samples prior to MALDI mass spectrometry imaging (MALDI-MSI). This instrument will be embedded in and operated by the Proteomics Research Technology Platform (RTP) core facility for the structural characterisation of peptides and proteins and other biological molecules. The Proteomics RTP supports research from the School of Life Sciences, Warwick Medical School, Department of Chemistry and many external academic and industrial partners.

The core requirement of this purchase is a 'matrix-sprayer' instrument capable of automated sample processing, applying uniform and consistent matrix-coating for high resolution imaging and quantification of analytes.
