Description

The ETF are seeking a tenderer to carry out some initial market testing of an EdTech Teacher Status proposition.
This EdTech Teacher Status scoping exercise will explore:
1. To what extent there is a need and or value in the sector to recognise practitioners who have redefined their pedagogic approaches to enhance Teaching, Learning and Assessment with new technologies and award them with an EdTech Teacher status;
2. To what extend such a status would strengthen the sector EdTech support framework;
3. What form the EdTech Teacher Status should take (add-on option to QTLS-ATS, Expertise status, etc.);
4. What the programme for an EdTech Teacher Status might look like including preferred modes of delivery, potential programme structure and duration in terms of guided learning hours;
5. How much participants would pay for an EdTech Teacher Status
6. What difference an EdTech Teacher Status might make to the use of learning technologies in teaching and learning in FE
The aim of this research project is to identify whether there is a sector need and market opportunity for an EdTech Status and if so, what form it may take.
