Description

The Council is wishing to procure Maintenance and Installation of Road Lighting & Illuminated Traffic Signs in the City of Bristol. The Council owns & manages some 34,000 street lights (over 20,000 having been replaced in recent years) & 15,000 other traffic equipment (e.g illuminated signs, bollards and pedestrian crossings), using a reactive maintenance policy. Pre-planned programmed works are also used on an individual scheme basis. Emergency cover is also needed from 17:00 to 08:00 (Monday-Friday) and 24 hours during the weekends.
