Description
Sussex Partnership NHS Trust is issuing this invitation to tender (\"ITT\") in connection with the competitive procurement to find a suitably skilled and experienced organisations to become members of a framework for Emergency Deep Cleaning and Decontamination Cleaning throughout the Trust's properties located throughout West Sussex, East Sussex and Hampshire. The requirement will generally be requested following a \"dirty protest\" or similar occurrence generally resulting in some form of bodily fluids being released. Service Providers may also be called upon to undertake deep cleans following an outbreak of Diarrhoea and Vomiting (D&V). Successful Service Providers will be expected to attend the requesting site within 2 - 4 hours from the time of request. The Service Provider shall have the means to provide emergency cover 24/7/365 via a single contact telephone number.
The Authority is looking to secure a suitable Service Providers that have previous experience and understanding of the constraints of working in the following types of establishments.
- Premises used for Mental Healthcare,
- Premises containing vulnerable or at risk persons.
- Premises used for General Healthcare.
- Seclusion Rooms
- Secure Premises
- Premises used as offices
The Authority has a wide-ranging property portfolio of some 80 buildings ranging from mental health hospitals to general office buildings.
The geographical areas covered by this Framework are West Sussex, East Sussex and Hampshire.
The Framework is expected to commence on the 1st August 2019 for an initial 2-year period with the option to extend the Framework term for a further 2 years.
