Description

Northamptonshire County Council invites tenders for the delivery of a support service for children and young people with SEND and their families in Northamptonshire. The Provider will be required to provide a support service for children and young people with SEND that:

• Gives children and young people with SEND the opportunity and skill to achieve greater involvement, participation and inclusion in community life;
• Offers opportunities for children and young people to improve their resilience, confidence and independence;
• Gives children and young people and their families access to community focused support plans where required;
• Supports families to choose best how to meet their own needs;
• Improves outcomes for children and families.

The Service will provide one to one support and advice to children, young people and parents resident in Northamptonshire.

The maximum budget available for delivery of service is £105,000 per annum and the contract is for 3 years, with an optional one year extension taking the total possible contract term to a maximum of 4 years. The contract will commence on 1st August 2018.

The Authority believes that TUPE does apply to this contract at its commencement. The deadline for completed ITTs to be received on the LGSS eTendering Portal is 12:00noon on Wednesday 4th April 2018.
